A typical daily scene in Sant Bertran’s dock, mid-twentieth century, then in this area of the port there were no beaches nor the vegetable gardens that still have that name. Here the loading and unloading of fish and other goods was the order of the day. Today it is a cruise terminal, which brings millions of tourists to the city each year.  At the bottom of the image you can see ‘Montjuïc’ hill with the ‘Miramar’ restaurant and right on the top, the castle.
