The operation of a ship's mechanisms and their treatment

The course provides knowledge, especially what you need to know about a boat, in terms of maintenance. Engine systems, fittings, structures, mechanisms..., and how to make correct use of all of them, to maximize their performance and preserve them over time.

In the basic mechanics and maintenance course you will learn

Explanation of all the parts susceptible to failure on the sailboat
Engine cooling circuit, knowing how to disassemble and assemble the turbine.
Electrical system, basic notions to avoid problems with batteries.
Background taps, locate them and view status
Winches, knowing how to disassemble a winche in case of breakdown
Rigging, review the delicate points of fixed rigging and also of working rigging.
