Nautical Medical Certificate
Just as you need to pass a medical examination for your driver's license, the same applies for nautical qualifications.
When issuing or renewing the title, one of the requirements will be to provide the medical certificate.
The purpose of the medical examination, to obtain the nautical qualification, is to ensure that you do not have any limitations, physical or mental, that may affect your ability to handle recreational boats.
What tests will they give me?
In a Driver Recognition Center (CRC), authorized by the DGT, an expert will review your medical history (a type of interview to learn more about your background), perform tests such as audiometry, visual assessment, spirometry to measure lung capacity, and possibly an electrocardiogram, in addition to other measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, auscultation, weight, height, etc.

In our virtual store you can make the purchase quickly and easily.
When completing the order we will send you an email that you will have to present, together with a passport size photo, at any of the HCG centers to have the necessary tests done.
According to the results of the recognition, the center will issue the medical certificate of fitness, as appropriate, on a printed form conforming to the official model, which will bear your recent photograph, on which the signature of the director and the seal of the center will be stamped.
