How can I take the nautical course online?

Choose the course and schedule that suits you best.
We offer you one online training platform from where you can connect directly to classes and participate actively, either through chat or with the microphone activated.

In the virtual classroom you will find: The entire complete syllabus, the digital library with teaching material, videos of entire classes, a historical archive of real exams, online tests organized by topic, access to streaming tutorials.

Prepare well for online classes

To get the most out of the sessions, it is important that you prepare well:
– Find a space comfortable, quiet and well lit, where you can concentrate without distractions.
– For those practical exercises, We recommend that you get used to working in small spaces. During the exam you will find yourself at a school desk.
– If you want intervene in class, in the virtual classroom you can do it by pressing the “✋” button Raise your hand” or by activating the microphone.

Good preparation will allow you to make the most of each class.

1 – Attend class without leaving home

Every week you will have two streaming classes in the virtual classroom with your instructor, who will explain the content of the theoretical units and the keys to passing the exam.

All live classes are recorded, so you can see them as many times as you want.

2 – Advance through the syllabus from the first unit

Start with the first unit and work your way through it in order. You can study the syllabus in the format you prefer:
– With the notes in PDF, which you will find in the digital library at aula.escolaport.com.
– With the explanatory videos available for each topic.
– With the printed study guide

Choose the format that best suits you and combine them to learn in a clear and effective way.

3 – After each unit, take the specific tests

Once you have completed a unit, you can take self-assessment tests to reinforce your knowledge and detect what needs to be emphasized.

Each test includes a timer to practice under pressure, as in the official exam.

You can repeat them as many times as you want and, since the questions are randomly generated, each attempt is different and helps you better consolidate your learning.

4 – Write down your doubts while you study and send them to the instructor

When you have doubts during the study, write them down and send them before the tutorial through the form of "Questions to the instructor".

This way we can better prepare the tutorial and resolve your doubts clearly during the live session.

5 – Participate in live tutorials

Streaming sessions with the teaching team. It's time to resolve doubts live, review concepts and learn with practical explanations.

The tutorials are unlimited until you pass. You will be able to ask questions, review and clarify concepts with real examples.

6 – Watch recordings if you can't connect

All classes and tutorials are recorded. If you can't connect live, you can see when you're doing better, as many times as you need.

7 – When you finish the entire syllabus, practice with full exams

Once you have studied all the units, enter the online classroom library and download the real exams.

Set a timer and try to do them as if you were taking the exam. They will help you review, detect weak points, and check if you are ready to pass with confidence.

There is no one way to learn — find the one that works best for you.

The most important thing is to be consistent and take advantage of all the support we offer you.

What if you don't pass the exam? Don't worry, you can repeat the course online at no cost.
