Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than fast Rescue Boats)

You will learn to handle lifesaving devices and take charge of a survival craft and non-fast rescue boats, operate the engine of a survival craft and organize the survivors inside the survival craft once abandonment has been carried out.

Certificate approved in Spain by the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine complying with the Training Code of the STCW-78/10 Convention.

Theory: 12 hours

In air-conditioned classrooms a few minutes from the center of Barcelona.

Internships: 12 hours

Handling of non-fast rescue boats and survival at sea.
Practice of rowing a non-fast boat in a boat.

Validity: 5 years

The certificate must be revalidated by completing a refresher course.

Face-to-face classes in Barcelona's Olympic Village

The training, which is given in Spanish, is aimed at captains and bridge and engine officers of passenger ships.
