These are the 4 topics that the questions will ask you about the exam.
All the units are related, understanding them as a whole is essential for optimal training.
In each topic you will learn:
Know the points where forces are applied on a ship. The influence of the location of the load weights and their effects. Know the effects of external forces (drift, downforce). Know and name the safety equipment and its correct use.
The effect of pressure, humidity and temperature in the air related to meteorology. The effect of water pressure, density and temperature in addition to the effect of the moon on ocean currents. The effect of the rotation of the earth in its ecliptic on the movement of its air masses. Decipher weather charts.
Identify and calculate the different courses, in addition to reinforcing the calculations and formulas learned in PER. Identify different points of the terrestrial sphere and their definitions. Yacht skipper mandatory safety and navigation practices 48 h
Navigation practices last 48 hours.
They are carried out in one session with a minimum of 36 hours in transit.
