Deadlines
- You can sign up for the exam up to twenty days before each call.
- Once the exam has been passed, you have 24 months to issue the degree.

Documentation
– DNI, residence card or valid passport.
– Completed exam registration form.
– Payment of the corresponding fee.
- Deposit of the payment of the fee.

Additional information
– The exam is bilingual, Spanish/Catalan. If you have difficulties with the language, you can bring a printed term translator on the day of the exam.
– The exam is usually held at the weekend, in a public institute.
- A few days before each call, the provisional list of admitted candidates is published.
– You choose the call, but until the list is published you will not know the place, day and time when you have to appear for the exam.
– The final list of admitted students will be published before 12 noon the day before the test.
– In the exam, only the theoretical content is assessed, the practicals are assessed by the school.

What are the usual exam times?

Exams usually start at 9:00 a.m. when there is only one shift. If two shifts are organized, the second one usually starts at 12:00 p.m.
When the list of people admitted to the exam is published, it also indicates which session you must attend, along with the time of access to the venue and the assigned classroom.

PNB to PER, what is the maximum number of errors allowed in the PER supplementary test (Block 2)?

The maximum number of errors allowed in the PER supplementary test is three (3).

Please note that in unit 11, navigation chart, the maximum number of errors allowed is two (2).

For example, if you nail it on the chart and don't have any failures, you could fail all the Meteorology questions (which consists of 3 questions), and in this case the result will be PASS.

What if I don't meet any of the requirements?

Not complying with any of the two requirements, or carrying out the same in a different way than specified (doing it outside the deadline, choosing an incorrect date, paying a fee that does not correspond, etc.), may well mean the impossibility to take the theoretical exam, either the non-correction of this or the non-publication of the grade obtained.

What if I pay the fee on my own but do not register for an exam?

In the case of not specifying the call in which the interested party registers, it will be included in the ordinary following the date of formalization of the registration.

What are the advantages of paying the fee with EscolaPort?

Paying the fee at EscolaPort will cost you a little more than doing it directly with the Administration, but it has its advantages.

Once you pay the fee with us and authorize us to register for the exam you will have up to 72 hours before the registration deadline to "repent", as long as you tell us in writing and we are at time we can cancel your registration.

In this case, the amount of the fee paid is deposited with the school and will be used when you decide to take the exam and notify us in writing.

What is the minimum age to take the exam?

In the case of the PNB exam, what do I have to do if I am 16 years old?

On the day of the exam, you must provide written proof of consent from your parents or guardians to the authority that is calling the exam. EscolaPort has a model adapted to official requirements.

What are the consequences of not presenting to the exam?

If you do not appear for the exam, no matter the reason, there will be no change of dates possible or refund of the registration fee.

What is the deadline to register for the PER exam?

Each PER exam (PNB, PY, CY) has a deadline for registration, usually up to twenty days before each exam. You can check it at exam calendar

How do I check if my registration for the exam went well?

About four (4) days before the examination, the provisional list of admitted students will be published on the website of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Until this moment you will not know whether you have signed up for the exam or not.

If you have delegated to EscolaPort your registration in the exam, you will receive a confirmation via email and the link to the list of admitted students. You will also find a notification in your classroom space.escolaportbarcelona.com

How will I know when and where the exam will be held?

You will know the date and time of the exam, as well as the exact place, 4 days before the call, when the admit lists are published.

When will I know the exam result?

The solution templates are published on the Monday following the exam. You can compare it with the copy of your solution sheet and get an idea of how you did.
The official result is usually known a week after the exam when they are published in your personal space on the administration's website.

If I have doubts about the result or think an answer is good but it has been given as incorrect, can I request a review?

Of course yes. You have ten working days, from the publication of the grades, to present in writing any claims you deem appropriate.
